Before you pay anyone

Credit repair isn't a service you buy. It's a set of rights you already have.

Federal law lets you see everything the credit bureaus keep about you, challenge anything that's wrong, and have errors corrected or deleted, for free. The playbook shows you how to use those rights well.

What you can do

  • Get errors corrected or deleted: accounts that aren't yours, wrong balances, wrong dates, wrong late payments, duplicates
  • Remove items that are too old to report, or that the creditor can no longer verify
  • Make collectors prove a debt before you pay it, and stop harassment
  • Ask for goodwill adjustments and negotiate settlements in writing
  • Build new, positive history that outweighs old negatives over time

What no one can legally do

  • Remove accurate, timely negative information just because it hurts your score
  • Guarantee a particular score, or a date for results
  • Give you a "new" credit identity

If anyone promises to erase accurate information, asks for payment before doing any work, or offers a "new" credit identity number (a CPN), walk away. Charging up front for credit repair services is illegal under federal law, and using a CPN in place of your Social Security number can be a federal crime.

Credit Repair Ease does not promise a higher score or any result by any date. It shows you how to challenge information that is inaccurate, incomplete or unverifiable. Accurate negative information can lawfully stay on your report for the time the law allows.

The AI companion

A second pair of eyes on your reports, working from the playbook

Your purchase includes separate companion files for Claude and ChatGPT. Install the edition your account supports. It follows the playbook step by step and cites the chapter and letter number every time, so you can check its work in the book.

AuditUpload your three reports. It runs the 40-point checklist and sorts every item into likely errors, questions only you can answer, and items that look accurate.
DraftYou choose which items to pursue. It rewrites the matching sample letter with your facts, then you print, sign and mail it yourself.
TrackIt builds a deadline tracker that matches Worksheet 6. Bring back each response and it helps you plan the next step.

Your reports stay with you

  • Everything runs in your own Claude or ChatGPT account. We never see your reports.
  • The setup guide shows you how to hide your SSN and full account numbers before you upload.
  • About 15 minutes to set up. Each platform has its own included ZIP and instructions.

What it won't do

  • Mail anything or contact anyone for you
  • Promise a score increase or remove accurate information
  • Act as your lawyer. If you've been sued or your wages are garnished, it points you to legal help.

ChatGPT disclosure: the ChatGPT edition requires Plugins and Skills access plus permission to install or upload a custom plugin. Availability depends on plan, workspace role and administrator settings, and some accounts may not offer it. Confirm access before purchase. A Claude or ChatGPT account is not included. Claude is a product of Anthropic; ChatGPT is a product of OpenAI. Credit Repair Ease is not affiliated with either company.

Clear guidance, without false promises

Self-help is the right tool for most credit problems. Some situations call for a lawyer, and you deserve to know which ones before you start. Many consumer attorneys take credit reporting and debt collection cases at no cost to you, because the law can make the company pay their fees.

Red flags: when to talk to an attorney

  • You've been sued or received a summons
  • Your wages are being garnished or a bank account has been levied
  • A bureau or creditor refuses to fix a clear, documented error after two rounds
  • A collector has broken the law
  • You're facing foreclosure, repossession or bankruptcy decisions

The playbook's Red Flags checklist covers these and points you to free and low-cost help.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Will this raise my credit score?

Credit Repair Ease does not promise a higher score, or any result by any date, and no one can honestly promise that. The playbook shows you how to find and challenge information that is inaccurate, incomplete or unverifiable, deal with collectors, and build positive history. What that does to your score depends on what's on your reports and what you do next.

Can it remove accurate negative items?

No. Accurate, timely negative information can lawfully stay on your report for the period the law allows, usually seven years for most items. The playbook explains those time limits, how to spot items that are reported wrong or too long, and how goodwill requests and negotiated settlements work, where a creditor chooses to change what it reports.

Is Credit Repair Ease a credit repair company?

No. We sell self-help materials. We never contact credit bureaus, creditors or collectors for you, and we don't send letters on your behalf. You do every step yourself, which is your legal right, and disputing errors is free.

Is this legal advice?

No. The playbook and companion are educational tools. They explain how the process works and the decisions you'll face, but they don't replace advice from an attorney about your situation, and buying them doesn't create an attorney-client relationship.

Do I need the AI companion?

No. The playbook is complete on its own, and every letter and worksheet is in it. The companion saves time on the two hardest parts, auditing three long reports line by line and turning sample letters into specific ones, and it keeps track of your deadlines.

What do I need to use the companion?

Your playbook PDF, your credit reports, and either a supported Claude account or a ChatGPT account or workspace where Plugins and Skills are available and you have permission to install or upload a custom plugin. ChatGPT availability depends on your plan, role and administrator settings. Check for Customize → Plugins and an upload option before purchase. The included guide covers both editions and privacy steps.

Does the ChatGPT edition work with every ChatGPT account?

No. The ChatGPT edition is a custom skills-only plugin. Your account or workspace must offer Plugins and Skills and permit custom plugin installation or upload. Some personal accounts and managed workspaces may not offer that access. A ChatGPT subscription or workspace is not included. If the upload option is unavailable, use the included Claude edition or ask your workspace administrator.

Who sees my credit reports?

Not us. The companion runs inside your own Claude or ChatGPT account, so your reports go only where you upload them. The setup guide shows you how to hide your full Social Security number and account numbers first and review the AI provider's privacy and data-control settings.

Does it work in my state?

The main credit reporting and debt collection laws are federal, so the process is the same everywhere. Some rules vary by state, especially how long a creditor can sue on a debt. The playbook includes a reference table for all 50 states and DC and shows you how to confirm current rules.

How do I get my files?

Right after checkout you land on your order page. A signed Stripe webhook verifies the payment before your private links appear. Each link works for 72 hours and up to three downloads, so save your files to your device. Stripe also emails you a receipt.

Can I get a refund?

Yes, within seven days of purchase, as long as none of your files has been downloaded. See the refund policy.
